The Pop Singers And Orchestra ‎– Themes From Hit TV Shows

Released in 1976 by Peter Pan Industries, this album contains the theme songs from many of the 1970s and 1980s best TV shows! I don't think they make TV themes like they used to. So many of loved these songs when they came the televion. I mean, Welcome Back Kotter - come on; that song is awesome.

Now these not the actual performances from the TV show, but performances of the songs by the group "The Pop Singers And Orchestra", but it's still a very enjoyable album. I did just listen to another new album that did have the original Welcome Back Kotter song by John Sebastian on it.

Side A

A1 Welcome Back, Kotter (Vocal)

A3 Happy Days Theme (Vocal)

Side B

B1 Keep Your Eye On The Sparrow (Theme From Baretta) (Vocal)
B2 M.A.S.H. Main Theme (Instrumental)

There are multiple volumes to this Themes From Hit TV Shows LP series. Other volumes include the themes from the Bionic Women, Six Million Dollar Man, Hawaii Five-0, All in the Family, One Day at a Time, Little House on the Prairie, Laverne and Shirley, Sanford and Son, and more.

YouTube didn't have many of the songs directly on this album. There were two:

Theme from "Welcome Back, Kotter"

Theme from Laverne and Shirley

Other themes on the album were on YouTube, they are just the original versions, not the performances from this album.

Theme from S.W.A.T.
